What is KIDS in the GAME?

KIDS In The GAME is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on inspiring kids to thrive in life through sports. We provide financial assistance to help youth from low-income families, youth that are physically or mentally challenged, and kids that are “at-risk” gain access to sports programs. We raise awareness of the importance of athletics in developing future leaders, with skills and values that transfer from the sports field into the classroom, workplace, family and community.

How does “KIDS in the GAME” program work?

KIDS in the GAME is a unique fundraising program that creates awareness about the positive benefits of youth sports, and provides financial assistance to youth from low-income families that enables them to reap the benefits of positive sports involvement. We developed KIDS in the GAME to increase access for youth to participate in sports regardless of ability, ethnicity or socio- economic background. KIDS in the GAME connects donors with specific funding opportunities. For example, a donor who loves soccer and football can give to assist getting 5 girls into soccer and 4 boys into flag football for a season of play.

How can I help get a kid in the game?

Any individual, company or foundation can help get a kid in the game with a donation to KIDS in the GAME. For just $30, you can help give a low-income, underserved youth an opportunity to develop physically, socially and mentally through sports.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

All donations to KIDS in the GAME are tax-deductible, and all donors will receive a formal receipt.

How does KIDS in the GAME use donations received?

KIDS in the GAME donations go directly toward “getting a kid in the game” through our vetted KIDS in the GAME Partners (i.e. youth sports organization, schools, park & recs) who make athletic programs available to youth from low-income families. Our funds are used primarily to pay for registration fees, and we require all funds we allocate to be used only for such purpose.

100% of every dollar you donate to KIDS in the GAME goes directly toward funding low-income youth sports fees.
